DSTO: Don’t Stop Trying to Overcome

DSTO Moore is a Macon, GA-based photographer who specializes in capturing intimate portraits and human moments.  DSTO first picked up a camera 5 years ago and immediately took his craft to the streets, creating themed photo series such as Macon Music, We are Pleasant Hill, Macon Hidden Gems, and the My Bike Photo Series for Bike Walk Macon. His ability to feel comfortable in a variety of settings, his desire to connect with the people in his community, and his enthusiasm for his craft brings a real-life perspective to his work.  DSTO’s images have been featured at curated photo events and galleries in a range of venues, JBA Bar and Music Club, Famous Mike’s of Macon Restaurant, Tubman Museum, Douglas Theatre, Bright City Alley Gallery, Kirk West Gallery, and on Ucreate Macon. 

DSTO founded Lovely Portraits, LLC to bring his visionary portraiture art to the studio.  His dream is to grow his business to provide for his four children and to create more meaningful jobs in Macon.  He is also committed to supporting Pleasant Hill, the Macon neighborhood where he grew up, and he is eternally grateful to his village for supporting his dream and for believing in him when he didn’t believe in himself.
